Al State Lectureship Mission

The mission of the Alabama State Lectureship is to provide spiritual enrichment and encouragement through preaching, teaching, and fellowship primarily; but not limited to; ministers and leaders in the Churches of Christ throughout the State of Alabama. Our concern for the integrity of the church, its future, spiritual growth, and committed efforts of the edification of the saints and the glorification of God is of utmost importance as we face the daily tasks in life.

Our focus and concentrated goal is to strengthen the church through this lectureship by exposing, identifying, and dealing with the church in light of the true position it holds in the world today. We pray that church leaders and members will benefit from the series of lectures, lessons, and each designed event presented on this program. It is the aim of this Lectureship to discover and understand the church and its problem in light of God's Word and present the truth. With God's help we will use all our energies to aide the church in focusing on those things which hinder it's spiritual growth. While lectures and other presentations will be a part of this program, it is not our purpose or goal to provide preachers the opportunity to appear before people. It is our express purpose to provide biblical teaching from God's Word and make every effort to be faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.
